Axis Petroleum’s directors bring over 50 years of combined experience in petroleum refining, lubricants manufacturing, chemicals and petroleum products marketing.
A petroleum geologist, economic analyst, entrepreneur and community leader with over 27 years’ experience in the oil and gas industry. He holds an MSc in Oil and Gas Enterprise Management (University of Aberdeen, UK) and has attended executive programmes at leading institutions. He currently serves as Chairman of GT Bank and Axis Petroleum Limited.
An alumnus of Lagos Business School, Mahmud holds degrees and postgraduate diplomas in Mining Engineering, Applied Geology, Management and Mechanical Engineering. He built his career at Oando Plc and Eterna Oil, rising to GM – Fuels, before becoming CEO of Axis Petroleum on 1 January 2020.
A Fellow Chartered Accountant (FCA) with over 15 years’ experience in financial leadership and business transformation. She joined Axis Petroleum from AFEX Fair Trade Limited, where she served as Financial Controller, and is currently pursuing an MBA at Lagos Business School.
An operations and logistics professional with over a decade of progressive experience at Eterna Plc, where he rose from Fleet Assistant to Head of Logistics. Anthony holds an MBA from the University of Lagos and a B.A. in Philosophy from the University of Ibadan.
